LETTER FROM JACQUELINE
“The past two years of Lynchburg politics have followed a toxic national trend that focuses on vague accusation and guilt by association. It’s time we get past the blame game and move forward and the way forward is by working toward a vision of who we want to be as a community. On my website, through the candidate forums, and at doors I have outlined key policy proposals that I believe move us forward as a community. On this page you will see that vision contrasted with the statements and policy objectives of my opponents.”

The PAC coordinating the Democratic Party candidates’ campaigns for Lynchburg City Council is primarily funded by a Washington, D.C. non-profit named The 1630 Fund. The 1630 fund has been identified by the New York Times as a possible funnel allowing illegal foreign funds to influence US elections. This so-called charity has given $260,000 to the Rural GroundGame which in turn is coordinating the unified campaigns of the democratic party candidates in Lynchburg.
- According to the Virginia Public Access Project, Rural GroundGame has received $260,000 from the nonprofit Sixteen Thirty Fund since June 2023.
